Johann Sebastian Bach - Concerto For Two Violins
Completed in 1730, as part of a series Bach completed in his role as Director of the Collegium Musicum. It was well received by audiences and critics at the time of its debut. The piece would go on to be featured in many different areas of Pop Culture.

Written around 1730, with the assistance from C. P. E. Bach who wrote the trumpet, oboe, and timpani parts, and Johann Ludwig Krebs who wrote the second violin and viola parts. What happened to this musical piece which was originally intended to convey the might and majesty of Gladiators but is now associated with *clowns* and the *circus* is also similar to what happened to *Vanessa Carlton's* song, *"A Thousand Miles;"* a song originally intended to be a heartfelt love song, but is now forever inextricably linked to *Terry Crews* and the film *"White Chicks."* (In an interview, Vanessa Carlton mentions that she didn't mind it)
